When I lived in KC, I started a series of paintings based on iconographic Kansas City scenes, such as the clock at Union Station.
This painting is from that group, and I hope conveys the excitement and interest of city life. Although I have since moved to the country, I still treasure many happy memories of my years as an urbanite. Kansas City is a great place to live.
When I speak on the topic of art collecting, I often point out that displaying artwork that features your local area can be a great way to show your customers your commitment to your local economy. I hope some Kansas City professional will add this charming little painting to his-her collection.
