This is a scene from the classic movie of the same name, which is a cult favorite among dance and film enthusiasts. The movie devolves around two storylines: the story-within-a-story involves a ballerina who dons enchanted red pointe shoes and can't stop dancing (borrowed from a fairy tale), while the encompassing plot is the drama within the dance company performing the fairy tale.
