This scene is set at St. Remy, France, where Vincent Van Gogh lived his last year. I visited it on my birthday in 2001. It was among the most beautiful places I've ever been. Others of my paintings from St. Remy include Cloisters, St. Remy II, and Welcome Home Vincent.
